This week, we have learned what we need to include in our writing. People who read our work must be able to point out the intended audience & the purpose of it. Also, when writing a rhetorical analysis, one must persuade others of how you view something. We must read images for their powerful meanings & subliminal messages. When writing a thesis statement, we must point out the main point & what we are trying to get across to the reader. The thesis must also be arguable as well.
Reflecting on what I have learned, I noticed that things were broken down into something I can relate to & easier understand. Most teachers have a complicated way of expressing & defining things. This time around, I feel as if I will have a better grasp on things because I see them much more clearly.
Myriah,
ReplyDeleteI completely understand how you feel about when things are broken down, they are better to understand. Do you know what your project is going to be about? I am still a little on the fence. I guess I should pick one by tomorrow. I was thinking minority high school dropout rates in Charlotte. Or there is the choice of homeless children in Charlotte. I am leaning more towards minority high school dropout rates. I think it's very interesting how each person can help or hurt the economy.
